Pathways in Motion: Paddle with Purpose

Join Aransas Pathways on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM for an evening of outdoor recreation, wellness, and community connection at Kayak at Sunset.

Experienced paddlers will launch from the Copano Bay Boat Ramp (5701 Highway 35 North, Rockport, TX 78382) and enjoy an approximately 3-mile paddle across historic Copano Bay to Howard Murph Memorial Park (4701 Loop 1781, Rockport, TX 78382), taking in scenic coastal views during the golden hour.

While paddlers are on the water, family members, friends, and other guests are invited to enjoy the festivities at Howard Murph Memorial Park. This community celebration features live music, a one-hour Zumba session, light refreshments, and exhibits hosted by local partners and organizations. As paddlers arrive at the park, everyone comes together to enjoy the sunset and celebrate the active outdoor lifestyle that makes Aransas County special.

Transportation & Parking
For the convenience of registered paddlers, complimentary shuttle service will be provided between Howard Murph Memorial Park and the Copano Bay Boat Ramp launch site. Participants are encouraged to park at Murph Park and utilize the shuttle service before the paddle. Additional shuttle transportation will be available following the event to assist paddlers in returning to their vehicles.
