Although she grew up in Rockport surrounded by bird enthusiasts, her interest in birding didn’t come until attending an ornithology class at Texas State University in 2011. Since returning to Rockport, her love for birding has only grown. When she’s not leading bird walks at Goose Island, she can be found throughout South Texas chasing rarities.
