One County. Countless Adventures. Fifteen years of stories—and we’re still writing them.
Aransas Pathways is celebrating a milestone with PATHWAYS @ 15, a special exhibit hosted by the History Center for Aransas County on Saturday, September 5.
For 15 years, Aransas Pathways has helped connect residents and visitors with Aransas County through four distinctive experiences:
Birding. History. Kayaking. Trails.

But behind those four pillars is an even bigger story—the story of the people, places and partnerships that have made Pathways possible.
Looking Back—and Moving Forward
PATHWAYS @ 15 offers a glimpse into that journey.

Through photographs, stories and interpretive exhibit panels, visitors can explore how Pathways has evolved and how conservation, recreation, history and community engagement have become interconnected across Aransas County.
The exhibit is not simply a celebration of what has already been accomplished.
It is a starting point for what comes next.
As visitor interests continue to evolve, Aransas Pathways is working to create new ways for people to discover our natural and cultural resources, connect with local stories and experience Aransas County responsibly.
It Takes a Community to Tell a Community Story
Even putting the exhibit together became a wonderful reminder of what Pathways represents.
There was plenty of improvisation, creativity, problem-solving and laughter during our behind-the-scenes preparations.

Aransas Pathways extends a heartfelt thank-you to the History Center for Aransas County (HCAC) for providing the space and opportunity to share our 15-year story, with special appreciation to Ms. Amy, Executive Director of HCAC, and the Friends of the History Center volunteers for helping bring the exhibit together.
We also thank the Texas Maritime Museum team for jumping into our pre-exhibit preparations and making the morning both productive and fun.

And a special thank-you goes to Rockport Printing for helping transform our photographs, designs and stories into the exhibit panels visitors will experience.
PATHWAYS @ 15 truly became what it celebrates: a community effort.
